1964  Mitsumi Scientific Industry Co., Ltd. Founded: January, 1964

1978  Changed the corporate name from Mitsumi Scientific Industry to ATTO Corporation
Opened Osaka branch at Minami-morimachi 2-1, Kita-ku, Osaka city

1979  Opened Tokyo Factory at Hongo 1-25, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo

1997  Moved the head office from Hongo 7-2-3 to Hongo 1-25-23, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo

2001  Awarded the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Prize as a person of technology promotion achievement (Fermograph)

2008  Moved the Technology and Development Center from Hongo 1-25-23, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo to Taito 2-21-6, Taito-ku, Tokyo
Moved the head office from Hongo 1-25-23, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo to Yushima 1-5-32, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo

2010  Launched ATTO Korea in South Korea
 The 5th Mono-dukuri Corporation Award, a new technology development prize (Nikkan Kogyo newspaper sponsored) to Luminescenser NIR and NIR-CLA

2011  Moved the head office from Yushima 1-5-32 to Motoasakusa 3-2-2, Taito-ku, Tokyo.
